Lang Van - Vietnamesisches Restaurant, nestled on Möllendorffstraße in Berlin’s vibrant Lichtenberg district, offers an authentic taste of Vietnam with a modern touch. This spacious eatery strikes a balance between casual comfort and lively local charm, making it an ideal spot for both intimate meals and larger gatherings.

The menu champions Vietnamese classics and favorites with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Highlights include the fragrant Pho Tofu, a comforting broth filled with delicate noodles and tender tofu, and the vibrant Pad Thai, which shines with its perfect blend of sweet, sour, and savory notes. For vegetable lovers, the Nudeln Mit Gemüse provides a wholesome, colorful option. The 5 Sauer-scharf-suppe delivers a dynamic kick with its balance of tangy and spicy elements, while the Gebackener Lachs and Ente Kross Bowl offer rich, satisfying protein dishes that don’t shy away from traditional Vietnamese seasoning.

The experience at Lang Van is enriched by its welcoming atmosphere. Guests often note the sense of community and the attentive service, even during busy evenings. One reviewer fondly recalled the cheerful celebration when the staff surprised a birthday guest with sparklers and dessert, demonstrating the restaurant’s dedication to a memorable dining experience. While service can occasionally feel stretched during peak times, the staff’s friendliness and promptness largely contribute to a warm and efficient visit.

The drink selection, particularly the Zitronengrastee Mit Minze, offers a refreshing complement to the bold flavors on the plate, although tastes vary on its intensity. The roomy layout and abundant seating make Lang Van well suited for groups or solo visitors seeking a place to savor Vietnamese cuisine away from the city’s hustle.

We stopped by to enjoy some Vietnamese coffee and ended up trying a few dishes as well — everything we had was delicious! The atmosphere was nice, and the prices were very reasonable, which we appreciated. The only small downside was that the waitress seemed to forget about us for a while — maybe she was just really busy at the time. Overall, we had a good experience and would be happy to come back!

Food taste was good. It was very busy at Sunday evening, yet they served promptly. I tried Pho. Will possibly visit again and try some other dishes.

Not only was the food delicious, but the service was incredible. They juggled two ginormous parties with grace, and when they found out it was my birthday, they came out with sparklers, free desserts, and singing - the works. I will definitely be back!
